My Story…
In early 2023, I started to have episodes where my heart rate would spike and my limbs would go numb, which would be followed by immediate vertigo and a few hospitalizations.
I've had quite a few ER visits for what doctors only said were misdiagnosed as either "vertigo" or "panic attacks" in the past few years.
It took a few years to find out the culprit..... chronic vestibular migraines that are caused by BVD (Binocular Vision Disorder) 😵💫.
For me, at the moment, it's under control now, but being part of vestibular migraine forums online for the last few years, there are a LOT of people who suffer from vestibular migraines that don't have their symptoms under control. To the point that it affects their mental health, quality of life, and for some, even their will to live. I'm running for them.
I don't have a huge goal because I just found out about Miles for Migraines and I know this event is soon and it's kind of last minute.
